本单元我们接触到了when,while引导的时间状语从句，时间状语从句的引导词有很多，常见的有：

when 当……的时间 The army was disbanded when the war caome to an end.

战争结束时，军队即被解散。

while在……期间 I lived in a hotel while I was a student. 我求学期间住在招待所里。

before 在……之前 I wiped my shoes on the mat before I came in. 我在进门前把鞋在垫子上擦了擦。

1.构成发放：was/ were +动词的现在分词 2.用法说明：

（1）表示在过去某一时刻或某一阶段正在发生的动作。如： What were you doing this time yesterday? 昨天这个时候你在做什么？
