与used to 都可以用来表示已经不存在的习惯或状态，两 词有时可以互相替换，有 时则不可以。

（1）would不可用于一个故事或叙述的开始。 used to可用于开始，然后用would描述习惯性 动作。例：

We used to have sports in the afternoon when we were in primary would play basketball,would swim,and…

（2）在强调与现在的对比时，用used to合适。 例：We used to do exercise every morning,but now I giv

e it up.

（3）Would需要指出具体时间，而used to则不
