一、 教材与学情分析
本单元的语言目标是Talk about imaginary situation.。虚拟语气对学生来说是全新的语法工程,让学生通过听和说,对虚拟语气的基本结构从语言上感知、模仿、领会、探究、应用。初四学生有一定的英语基础,能就日常生活的各种话题与他人交换信息并陈述自己的意见,所以,要注重培养学生“听”的灵敏性、有效性,以及“说”的准确性、流利性和连贯性,增强语感,提高学生的综合语言能力。 二、 教案目标
1. 知识目标:学习一些假设的、虚拟的情况。
2. 能力目标:学会使用虚拟语气提出建议,会表示与现在情况相反的虚拟语气的结
构。
3. 情感目标:通过对自己还没有实现的理想的表述,提高学生的辨别能力,树立正
确的人生观。
三、 教案重难点
1. 语法:虚拟语气
2. 能够自如地用虚拟语气进行听说练习。 四、 教案过程
I. Organization: Greetings. II. Free talk and Revision:
Talk about where to visit and when we visit somewhere, what we need to prepare. III. Presentation and Consolidation: 1. Speaking
T: Do you want to have a lot of money? S: Yes.
T: If you had a lot of money, what would you do? S1: I’d give it to charity
S2: I’d give it to medical research. ……
【思路点拨】 通过讨论与本课有关的已学知识,给学生做好新旧知识的衔接、比较,从而自然导入与本单元相关的话题。

Pretend you are the people in the picture. Talk with your partner about what you would do if you had if you had a million dollars.
A: Look. This old man had a million dollars, and he gave it to charity. B: Wow! What would you do if you had a million dollars? A: I’d give it to medical research.
【思路点拨】 学生可以根据课本已有的材料进行练习,也可以根据自己的想象创造性地使用语言,先学生两两对话,然后让学生展示对话,培养学生的表现欲,同时加强学生之间的互相交流。 5. Make a survey:
What would you do if you had only three days’ life? Name What would he/she do? Tom He would travel around the world. Mary She would spend time with her parents. XXX … [思路点拨] 学生的创新能力往往不是在学习语言的过程中提高的,在使用语言的过程中,学生的综合运用能力以及解决问题的能力得到极大的提升,同时这也是学生人生观、价值观形成的一个重要途径。 6. Listen and do 2a

【思路点拨】 训练听力的同时也把重要知识点展现出来,并学会如何处理问题。 7.Groupwork:

8. Grammer:
虚拟语气用于条件状语从句,表示与现在事实相反的假设, 条件状语从句用“一般过去式(be 一般用were)”, 而主句谓语动词由“would/should/ could/might + 动词原形”构成。 If I were a boy, I would join the army.
If I won the lottery, I would buy an expensive car.
If I had a lot of money now, I would travel around the world. If I had time, I would go for a walk.
(事实上我现在没有时间,不能去散步。) If I were invited, I would go to the dinner.
(事实上没有人邀请我,我也不能去参加宴会。) If I had a million dollars, I would put it in the bank. (事实上我没有一百万美元,也不可能存在银行。) 【要点点拨】
(1)This old man had a million dollars, and he gave it to charity. 1) million (hundred, thousand…) 用作数词时,做名词的定语,此时没有复数形式;用作名词时,表示“数百万”、“数千”、“数百”等,后面接of短语,这时通常采用复数形式。如:six hundred workers。 thousands of visitors
2) gave it(the money) to charity 意为“捐钱给慈善机构”。 (2)What if everyone else brings a present?
1)what if… 意为“要是……该怎么办?”。其结构相当于What will happen if…? if后的句子需用陈述句语序。如:
I know little English. What if I meet a foreigner?
2) else意为“另外的;其他的”,常放在疑问代词、不定代词或疑问副词后。如: Who else is going there? 9. Exercises:

【思路点拨】通过知识点的讲解与练习,进一步地巩固知识点,对学生进行强化训练 IV. Summary:
师生共同总结虚拟语气的构成及用法。构成:主句为过去将来时would do,从句为一般过去时。教师引导学生区别if引导的虚拟语气与条件状语从句,同时结合话题对学生进行情感教育。注意不要只是空想,想法要切合实际。
【思路点拨】在总结的环节中,应发挥学生的主体地位,让其从各个方面进行总结。不
