一、本单元话题分析
本单元的话题是“Interesting events”,通过单元学习,要求学生掌握如何用过去时态谈论过去发生的事情,并
能运用过去时态讲述一个故事。语法结构要求掌握由when 和 while引导的时间状语从句、过去进行时以及一般过去时。在了解目标语言的基础上,要求学生能读懂描述过去经历的文章,并进行模仿写作训练,描述一段不寻常的经历。
Section A 1a通过让学生把几个不同的人及其在UFO出现的相应位置进行配对,初步呈现本单元的目标语
言,即talk about past events。1c是一个会话活动,让学生练习when 和while引导的时间状语从句和过去进行时的表达法。3b是对学生目标语言运用能力的检验,要求学生能看图口头复述故事。4是一个小组活动,让学生结合自己的生活实际,以采访的形式练习过去进行时的用法。
Section B
2c要求学生仿照例句谈论2a中列出的行为,练习while引导的时间状语从句的用法。4a提供了几
幅图画,要求学生能根据图画内容写一段故事,练习用过去时写作。4b是一个角色扮演活动,要求学生根据提示的情境用所学过去时进行会话练习。
Reading Section3 3b是一个写作练习,要求学生模仿阅读文章,以自己生活中的一个记忆犹新的事件为中
心,描述当自己听到这件事情时正在做什么。
二、写作设计(教学指导) 1、审题
1)确定写作的话题(Interesting events) 2)明确体栽:记叙文、书信或邮件 3)确定写作人称
4)确定时态主要运用:when 和 while引导的时间状语从句、过去进行时以及一般过去时。 5)题型设计:命题作文,提示性作文、图表作文 2、设计与布置写作任务 教学具体流程
整理思路——组织素材——规划文章结构——列出提纲——遣词造句——组织语言——起草文章——集体/同伴批改修订——形成二稿——展示批改。
1)整理思路——组织素材
Interesting events的话题是回忆我们过去生活中有趣的话题,作为学生都有自己的兴趣爱好,回忆什么?当时你在做什么?
指导建议:本单元话题是谈论过去发生的事情,运用when 和 while引导的时间状语从句、过去进行时以及一般过去时。
2)规划文章结构——列出提纲
由于已经基本确定要写的内容,文章开头用一句话说明自己过去某一时候,你在什么地方;主体部分重点阐
述过去某一时候,你在做什么。
3)组织语言——起草文章
罗列出学过的兴趣爱好的短语,学生动笔写作,老师走动观察学生写作情况,解决学生写作时出现的问题。 4)集体批改——同伴批改修订——形成二稿——展示
学生互评后,老师抽样与全班同学一起点评,指导学生如何批改,学生从中也学会了怎样写好作文(如何找到作文的错误的地方或不足点,同时也要找到该作品的亮点)。
3、写作拓展
周末, 同学都喜欢到公园游玩,根据下列要点,描述你班同学上周周末公园游玩时的情景。 上周周末, 全班同学到公园游玩。天气宜人,公园到处是绿树和鲜花。 上午,有的同学唱歌、跳舞,有的打排球或羽毛球(badminton)。
吃完午饭,划船、登山,虽然很疲劳,但是很高兴,我们玩得非常痛快。 天色晚了,乘车返回学校。 4、教学小结
(1)、写作课不是教语言知识点,而是教学生如何运用目标语言来谋篇布局的写作技能,同时也适时地贯穿一些做人的道理。
(2)、用多种批改方式,提高学生对语言的运用能力。互相批改是个省时省力的方法,但前提是老师先教学生基本的批改方法。还有,老师不能把所有的工作由学生自己负责,在学生批改后,要进一步检查。 三、教学过程(Teaching Procedures)
Step 1: Lead-in and presentation 1. Review the vocabularies in Unit 3.
Play computer games, watch TV, do one’s homework, do the dishes, do housework, play volleyball, climb hills, sing, draw, write, talk, laugh.
2. Make conversations with students

Step4 Post-writing
1) Pairwork: After students finish writing. Let students exchange their compositions with their partners. And make comments and give advice on the compositions with each other.
2) Show the grading standard on the screen. Then correct the compositions with the whole class. Remind students to pay attention to the following: the tense (when 和 while引导的时间状语从句、过去进行时以及一般过去时。), word spelling, handwriting and conjunctions and prepositions .
3) Read the model essay together.
Step 5 Homework

The whole class went to the park on the weekend last week. The weather was very pleasant. There grow many green trees and beautiful flowers here and there in the park.
