Lesson One

教学目标:

1.理解并能够诵读本单元故事. 2.理解This is …句型. 3.能够用This is 句型介绍他人. 4.掌握初次见面的问候Nice to meet you. 教学重点:

理解并能够诵读本单元故事 理解This is …句型 教学难点:

理解缩写的基本概念 isn’t = is not 教学步骤: 教学环节 Step1 Warming up: 教师活动 让同学唱Unit 1的歌曲,活动气氛。事先准备好人物面具,拿出Mocky,对同学说This is Mocky.然后依次拿出其它人物面具,分别用This is 句型介绍。让同学对This is 句型有个基本的印象。然后拿出面具,让同学试着用This is …说出人物名称。 Step2讲故事 告诉学生Today Mocky will introduce two new friends to us. One is Lulu and one is Danny. (同时,拿出人物面具,让同学跟读并熟悉新人物。)Now open your books, and turn bo page14.让同学看书,并提出下面问题,并引导同学用英语回答 How many people are there in the picture? Who are they? What do you think they are talking about? Who do they meet? 学生活动 备注 1

Do they like it? 然后让同学看光盘(没有光盘听录音),听听他们都说了什么? 每幅图停顿,让同学跟读,同时向学生解释几个语气用语。 (几个较难词:lovely 、leopard) 之后,让同学完整听一遍录音,并试着重复。 作业:

回家听录音,把故事讲给家长听。

Lesson 1

Function: obeying classroom commands;stating someone’s name. Structure: This is (Mocky). This isn’t (ken). Commands: show me a (pencil).

stand up. sit down. Open your books.

Contextual:Super! Oh, no! come on! Nice to meet you ! what a lovely (deer)! Preparation: 1.Cut out,and color masks of Lulu and Danny. P161-162 2.teacher’s masks from Unit1 Procedure:

一、introduce new characters:

This is Lulu/Danny. (have the class repeat several times.) 二、model the dialog:

1.Have the class repeat “This is Mocky.”after me. (Ann, Ken, Mocky, Uncle Booky, Lulu ,Danny)

2.Mocky mask: This isn’t Ken. This is Mocky. (subtitute name)

3.Hold up a mask but say nothing. Have the students make a sentence of their own.

三、introduce commands:

1.Say, “stand up.” (do action) . have the class do as I do. 2.“sit down.”

3.“open your books. Show me a pencil.”

4.Practise: repeat the commands. let the class do in response. 四、talk about the story P14-15 1.Ask questions about the pictures:

Picture1: who can you see in the picture.What are they doing?

What do you think they are talking about?Pic3: what are Ann,Ken, and Mocky doing? Pic4/5 who do they meet? Pic6/7:Do they like him? Pic8: who does Mocky see? Pic9: how does Mocky feel? Pic10:Has Mocky made a mistake? Pic11:what is happening to Mocky? 五、Story P14-15

1.T: we’re going to hear what the characters said. Let’s Ss look at the pictures and listen.

2.Ss:repeat after the tape.

3.Explain: oh, no! : when you are surprised or worried.

Come on! : means that you want someone to come with you. Super :means you feel wonderful.

4.Have the class roleplay the dialog using their masks from unit 1. 六、Set homework

to tell your families about the new characters, Danny and Lulu. Supplement:

Lesson 2

This is (Lulu). This isn’t (Ann).

Hello! what’s your name? My name’s (Ken).

Classroom structures:

What is this?

Vocabulary: a book / a pen / a pencil / an eraser / a ruler /a pencil sharpener

/a pencil box

Preparation:

Word flashcards,name flashcards. Each student’s own character masks.

Scissors.crayons,glue for making masks. Procedure:

一、Review English names:

1.Pin on themselves English name tags.让一名学生在我准备的全班的英文名卡片中任抽取一张,被抽到自己名字的同学站起来。The class say:“hello!what’s your name?” 二、Use the masks:

1.Making masks of Lulu,Danny. 2.Have the Ss put out all masks .

3.Hold up the Lulu mask and let Ss do the same. Say “ This is Lulu”, then say, “This isn’t Ann……” . have the class finish my sentence with “This is Lulu.” 4.Repeat by all. 三、Words to learn :

1.Play the tape and touch each object. Ss follow me.

2.Again, P16 look at the pictures, touch the picture,repeat when I point to the words.

3.Ss read the words.

4.T say to the class “show me a pencil/book/…” 四、Use the Flashcards:

1.Hold up one card ,say “what is this?” have the Ss say “this is a ……” 2.Repeat the Q and A after me. 3.Group work. 五、listen to this:

1.play the tape ,stoping after each sentence.then numer each picture. 六、Play the game:

1.P17 name the objects and point to them.

2.Look at the 4 pictures, pair work: give the word for a missing object. 七、Extend the game: 1.See the T’s book P37 Supplement:
