At 8:30 this morning, Mr. Peter King, a clerk in the Kentish Bank, discovered that the bank had been robbed during the weekend. “All the money in the safe (保险库) — 30,000 pounds — has been stolen,” the manager said.

For the past eight years, Mr. Peter King has been the first to open the door of the Kentish Bank.
