数量词+ in size，表示面积有多大。

China is 9，600，000 square kilometers in size. 中国面积有9，600，000平方公里。 数量词+high（in height）/ heavy （in weight）/ wide （in width）/ long（in length）/ deep （depth） 分别表示：有多高 / 重 / 宽 / 长 / 深。 The Nile is 6,671 kilometers long.

population作主语时，谓语动词用第三人称单数，而当它的前面有分数或小数时，谓语动词常用复数。如：
