You must think Hong Kong singer and actor Aarif Lee is a lucky guy. Only entering the business six years ago, the 28-year-old is already everywhere on our TV screens. Weeks ago he was an emperor in the TV drama The Empress of China (《武媚娘传奇》). And now he travels with a group of actresses in the reality show Sister Over Flowers (《花样姐姐》).

But even the luckiest guys come across difficulties. Lee’s been through crises (危机) too.

Lee found his love for music before he was 15. But instead of going for that, he chose to do physics at Imperial College London, one of the world’s top universities.

I had a very special teacher in high school many years ago. Her husband died of a heart attack. About a week after his death, she shared some of her insights with us.
