Note that board here means “to be ready to let passengers to get on”. e.g. Flight 172 to Istanbul is now boarding.

Note that the prefix “de-” means “to get off (a vehicle)”, so logically you can form some similar words like debus and deplane; but there are no such words as deship or deboat. 9. It’s best to arrive at your bus stop at least five minutes before your bus is due. A bus stop

Note that the term light rail was devised in 1972 by the U.S. Urban Mass Transportation Administration (UMTA) to describe new streetcar transformations which were taking place in Europe and the United States. cf. maglev (磁悬浮列车)
