I am looking for an alternate manufacturer. I recently came back from a trade show and there was some interest in the Chinese and Japanese chess sets that I market. I may place another order this summer. Here are my thoughts:

#1 The very most important issue is quality control. I cannot waste my time opening every single set to check and replace missing pieces. Therefore, I require absolute quality control at the factory. The factory must hire a person who can check each set before shipment. I need 100% quality (this means zero defects and 100% correct set of pieces for each box) or I cannot succeed in this market. If I can have your cooperation, I know I will have regular re-orders for you now that I have finally entered the market.

#2 I want to have smaller, lighter, cheaper sets. This means a double-jointed pressboard playing surface and plastic playing pieces. Also, I will write the instruction manual. I hope to have a new image for the next display box. However, I am also considering a plastic display bag.
