语法 一、时间状语从句（as soon as）

as soon as引导时间状语从句，意为“一……就……”。

如果主句用一般将来时或含有情态动词，从句用一般现在时表示将来。当从句中用一般过去时的时候，主句用过去的某种时态。 例如：

I will tell him the good news as soon as he comes back. 他一回来，我就会告诉他这个好消息。

My father started to read the newspaper as soon as he sat down. 我父亲一坐下就开始看报纸。

语法 二、由连词unless引导的条件状语从句

unless是常见的引导条件状语从句的从属连词，相当于“if… not…”，意为“如果不；除非”，时态特点为“主将从现”。

例：We’ll go for a picnic unless it rains this Sunday. 我们这周日将会去野餐，除非下雨。

unless还可以和“祈使句＋and/or+含有一般将来时的句子”进行同义转换。 例：

Work hard, or you won't succeed.

=Unless you work hard, you won't succeed. 努力工作，否则你不会成功。

语法三、由so that引导的结果状语从句

由so that引导的结果状语从句

so that...“以便……；结果是……”与so...that...“如此……以至于”均可引导结果状语从句。例如：

He worked hard so that he gained high grades in the exam.

他努力学习，结果考试取得了好成绩。

He got up so early this morning that he caught the early bus. 今天早上他起得如此早，因此他赶上了早班车。

拓展：so that...可以与so...that...转化为同义句，也可以转化为简单句，要用too...to...或not...enough to...句型，但在用not...enough to...句型时，not后要用原句中的形容词或副词的反义词。例如：

The problem is difficult so that nobody can work it out. =The problem is so difficult that nobody can work it out. =The problem is too difficult for everyone to work out. =The problem isn't easy enough for everyone to work out. 这道题太难，没有人能算出来。
