【考点考例一】even though引导让步状语从句

even though=even if，意为“即使，尽管”，引导让步状语从句，可以放在句首，也可以放在句中。

even if 和even though引导的从句可用陈述语气或虚拟语气，但含义有所不同。如：

Even though I am busy, I will attend the meeting. (现在确实忙) Even though I were busy, I would attend the meeting. (表示假设，可能不忙)

(1) as… as…意为“和……一样”，表示同级的比较。第一个as为副词，修饰形容词或副词，第二个as为连词，引出比较对象。其基本结构为：as+ adj./ adv. +as…。如：

(2) as…as…可用来表示倍数，其结构为：倍数+ as + adj. + as…。如： Your room is twice as big as mine. (3) 几个关于as...as的常见短语： as long as 只要 as far as 远至，远达
