1．选题背景和研究意义 The traditional Chinese civilization is extensive and profound. It is of long standing and well established. Chinese history is well known for its steady structure and clear skeleton. For the flourishing of Chinese culture and history there’re several reasons, among which the traditional management plays an important role. Represented by Confucius and Mencius, the Confucian doctrine has experienced a long history over two thousand years and has become the mainstream of Chinese traditional culture. It has formed its special thinking form of management. As the dominant shaping power over people’s idiosyncrasy, it has branded itself into our moral conception, value orientation, thinking mode, criterion of behavior and social psychology. For modern management, the value of mature managing thoughts in Confucianism has been accepted by more and more people. Confucianism has not only greatly influenced the forming of enterprise managerial ethics of modern China, but also profoundly affected the neighboring countries of China, such as Japan, Southeast Asian countries, and even other parts of the world. “The Confucian doctrine and ethics and modern business management” has become the hot topic of the Confucian culture study. No matter in the industrial district of East Asia which is called as “the late Confucian doctrine” or in the European or American countries who imported the new Confucian management thinking of Japan into their own managing practice, the successful examples of Confucian doctrine’s being experimented in the enterprises of these districts have been paid wide attention to by the international world. It is very meaningful to study the Confucian doctrine from the view of managerial ethics, to draw useful ideas and to enrich and perfect our modern enterprise managing theory and practice. People try to analyze and denote the practical importance of the Confucian doctrine, and find out the helpful instructions from those successful examples. 2．论文的主要内容和提纲 Firstly, the research paper will introduce the purpose and significance of this study. Since managerial ethics is the core of this research paper, the second part will then cover the introduction of managerial ethics. The next will come to the Confucianism; include its meaning, its core and the perception in terms of Hofstede’s value dimensions. Then how Confucianism take effect under the cross-cultural environment will be carried out in the fourth part. In this part, the important role of Confucianism in cultivating culture and management is going to be summed up by the author and there will be some cases to support the author’s idea. Fifthly, it will come to the conclusion of this study.
