一、必记单词

三、重点单词的用法

1、Let’s see the pandas first.

Let’s是let us 的缩写，一般情况下，let’s与let us 表达的意思一样，都意为“让我们”，但是二者有区别：

Let’s 强调包括说话者和对方在内，用来提出建议。Eg. Let’s go to school,Liming.

Let us ,不包括对方，用来请求允许。Eg.Let us go home ,Mr.Li 本句是祈使句，Let’s 后接动词原形，其结构为let’s do sth.意为“让我们做某事吧！”表示说话人的建议，肯定回答OK!/All right./Good idea.否定回答用sorry,I... —Let’s sing an English song . —Good idea.

—Sorry,I can’t sing English songs.

2、They‘re my favorite animals.

Favorite形容词，通常用来做定语和表语，没有比较级和最高级，意为“最喜欢的，特别喜欢的”可与like ...best 互换。 Eg .What is your favorite color?= What color do you like best? 注意：favorite还可以做名词，意为“最喜欢的人或物”既可以指

认，也可以指物。

Eg .Football is my favorite.

3、Because they’er very cute.

(1)because 作连词，意为“因为”，用来陈述原因、理由，回答why 引导的特殊疑问句。 —Why do you like dogs ?

—Because they’er friendly and clever.

Because of 是介词短语，意为“因为，由于”后可接名词、代词、动名词。但是不能接句子，而because 后只能接句子。

注意：在汉语中我们经常用“因为......所以......”表示因果关系，而在英语中不能在同一个句子中使用because和so ，只能用其一。 Eg .Because he is ill ,he can’t go to school .

He is ill ,so he can’t go to school. (2)cute 形容词，意为“可爱的、机灵的” 辨析：cute ,smart, clever.

Cute,侧重可爱，多用来形容动物，多指某种东西因小巧玲珑而可爱。 Eg .The cat is very cute.

Smart 意思侧重“顽皮”，指人时多指思维能力很强，办事巧妙，还指人的外表形象“潇洒、时髦” Eg .He is a smart businessman.

Clever 侧重“有头脑的”多指人或动物的脑子灵活，理解事物快。 Eg .He is a clever student.

A dolphin is a clever animal.

4、Why do you want to see them ?

本句为why 引导的一般现在时的特殊疑问句，其结构为“Why +do/does+主语+动词原形+其他？

句中want 后接动词不定式做宾语，want 常用结构如下： ? want sth .想要某物 I want two books . ?want to do sth . I want to buy two books . ?want sb to da sth .

I want my teacher to buy two books .

5、kind of interesting

Kind of 是非常口语化的表达方式，意思是“有点儿、稍微”，用来修饰形容词。

The little tiger is kind of dangerous.

?Kind 作名词，意为“种类、类型、类别”可构成短语a kind of... Eg. This is kind of pen.

一种......all kinds of... 各种各样的...... Eg. The shop sells all kinds of bread. ?kind 作形容词，意为“和蔼的、亲切的” Eg .My teacher is kind to us .

?kind 可用于句型It’s very kind of you to help me .
