现在进行时

sb. is in the middle of doing sth. He has started doing it and hasn’t finished yet.

基本形式： am / is / are + doing

1. 表示正在进行的动作

You are learning English now. Are you kidding?

2. 表示在目前一段时期内持续的一种暂时的情况。

I am writing a book.

I am taking an English grammar course.

Is Susan working this week? No, she’s on holiday.

3. 用于表示“改变”，强调“逐渐变化”的过程

I am getting old. My dream is coming true.

4. 用于强烈的感情色彩的表达，可以同always连用，表示多次重复

Why are you always doing this to me? He is always borrowing money from me. He is always talking.

5. 表示将来确定的安排

I am not going to the party tonight. 练习：

He wants to go to Germany, so he is learning German. I'm leaving tomorrow. It isn’t raining now.

John is never satisfied. He’s always complaining.

tips：

like, love, hate, want, need,

prefer, know, realize, suppose, mean, understand ,believe, remember, belong, contain, consist, seem 不用进行时

区别：

1. 表反复 do vs be always doing

He goes to school on foot.

He is always borrowing money from me. 一般现在时：客观描述 现在进行时：带有感情色彩

2. 表将来

The plane takes off at 7 tomorrow morning. I am leaving tomorrow.

一般现在时：客观，安排 现在进行时：主观，确定
