According to a study, about two-thirds of people surveyed use the Internet for news---often about entertainment---or for online games. About half download music and movies. They also prefer instant messaging to e-mail, and they are using the Internet more often than before to communicate with others who have the same jobs and hobbies. Online shopping is still unpopular in China. Three-quarters of users surveyed have never bought anything over the Internet, and only 10 percent do shopping even once a month. Among those who buy online, most pay for entertainment while others buy phone cards, or computer hardware or software.

The survey was done in five major cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Changsha. Guo describes the typical netizen(网民) in the five cities surveyed as young, male, richer and more highly educated. Males make up two-thirds of the Internet community (群体), and more than 80 percent of users are under 24. Among people ages 25 t0 29, 60 percent to 80 percent go online.

一、 评分原则

本大题共20分,内容和语言占18分,书写和卷面分2分。内容要点可用不同方式表达。 二、 说明

内容要点错漏、时态、语态错用,句子结构错误为大错,介词、冠词、单词拼写、大小写、标点符号方面。

三、 各档次的给分范围和要求

先结合对全文的综合印象确定所属档次,然后根据短文内容和语言表达的准确程度确定分数。
