Visit education exhibitions(展览会). You‘ll be able to find out more by talking to teachers from different universities, and they can be found easily at the same time.

Go to see the university if you can. If this is not possible because of the cost, do some research and find out where the university is as well as the environment around it. In March last year, the car I was driving was involved (卷入) in a serious accident with another car on a country road.
