Para.3:

Fortunately, that is not the Day of Judgment only if drastic measures could be taken to end up this craziness, such as laying down the effective-and-strict regulations to rectify the inappropriate price-making mechanism, shaping a moderate consumption outlook and supporting the frugal life style by our actions.

Para.1:

Virtuous and warm-hearted, those two most notable tycoons named Bill Gates and Buffet are holding their dinner party in the name of charity/philanthropy. As we all

know, they are running the top/optimum funds on this planet which do a lot of favor to the world’s have-nots and now even try to persuade the richest at every corner of this world to participate in this love-permeating assembly. Para.2:

Actually, the question of what the reasonable criterion of success seems like is a real one. Some people may consider the quantity of one’s property as the final standard with regard to one’s life glory, yet, conversely, still the rest may take into account their dedication to the society. Personally, I am convinced that the latter holds water/makes sense. There seem to be two moderate explanations to this perspective. To begin with, charities send money for the relief of poverty, sickness and distress. Simultaneously, they themselves can feel a glow of satisfaction as well.

Michael Jackson, the king of Pop, donated all of his belongings, even blind to his state of bankruptcy, to bring as many smiles of children as possible to our life, for example. Also, externally, our society is still witnessing a large gap between haves and have-nots so that those who have relatively more resources are expected to do more charity work.. Para.3

Taking into account all analyses mentioned above, we may safely arrive at a conclusion that it is, unquestionably, beneficial to be generous and selfless in our work and daily life. So, a list involving some constructive and liberal mottos to guarantee habits for devotion should be stuck on our dressing table as soon as possible.

5. Preservation of Historic Buildings 开头

??Clearly described in the cartoon is a collapsing “leaning tower”. Graceful and mysterious, historic buildings remain a dreamland for most of us. They connect

modern people with the past, allowing us to acquire a cultural and historical identity. 二段例证

However, as you step into the streets in China, all that catch our eyes are standardized buildings

holding masses of people, shops selling various featureless souvenirs and foods. This is also true even in a so-called historical site. Old cities disappear. Classic gardens vanish. As a result, over 600 cities in China look exactly the same. 三段分析

??We may find excuses that we lack experience in urban development and that we need to survive and thrive( 让步) , yet no one can deny the fact that our cultural heritage, the witness of our history, is being erased(让步以后的驳斥更加有力). It's a pity that skyscrapers are set up while temples and other cultural heritages go to wrack and ruin( 前半部分强 烈的对比, 最后两个单词押头韵) . 尾段建议

??Why don't we cherish them, our spiritual home and our civilization? Without cultural heritages, we would be rendered rootless and unaware of whom we are and where we come from, and we would find it hard to cope with challenges at present and in the future.

The power of Habits

首段引题

??Desperate yet helpless, a man in the cartoon is hauled by a wicked dog, his “dear puppy” when little(同位语突出和前面wicked 的巨大反差). Needless to say (点明主旨时常用的强调结构), the purpose of the drawer is to reveal that we need to be careful of bad habits.

二段例证

??Like the man in the cartoon(很多文章都需要举例论证。例子有具体有抽象。下面例子属于brief examples的排比) , quite a proportion of people admit that we suffer from bad habits: (冒号提醒阅卷老师: 例子就要出场) Resolved to be an early morning riser, but finding ourselves in class on an empty stomach because we don’t get up until the sun has risen high in the sky; determined to be punctual, but turning out to be late for an appointment; decided to be a regular reader, but leaving the book on the desk to be read untouched……( 三个例子三个同义动词。 其实在科技时代, 一切皆有可能。) 三段分析(影响)

??The monster in us ( 暗喻) may bring about potential risks: it may cost a person his job or a full happy life. Unfortunately, many individuals find themselves trapped in them. Thousands of times they might have told themselves to start a new life by forming good habits but a thousand and one times they see themselves still on the old track (注意使用对仗等修辞手段). 尾段建议

??Forming a bad habit is easy. But much harder is to rid yourself of the bad habits. Therefore, watch out for them when they are still “small”

Due Attention Should Be Given to Study of Chinese

??As is ironically displayed in the cartoon,

some prestigious universities like Tongji exclude Chinese from the subjects to be tested in their independent admission procedure. This has aroused heated discussion among the public --- Is Chinese not so important as English? What if we neglect the study of our mother tongue?( 准确使用标点能够赢得加分) 二段分析原因

??First of all, globalization counts much for this phenomenon. In modern society, information in most media, be it the Internet or newspaper ( 既倒装又虚拟,都是加分亮点) , is conveyed in English. As a saying goes, one can go to every corner of the world without any difficulty when communicating with local people in English. Unfortunately, while we emphasize the importance of English, we underrate the value of Chinese though China has been developing at an amazing speed.

三段分析影响

??However, neglecting the study of Chinese is extremely harmful if the situation is left unfettered( 如果任其自然不加约束) .The major harm is that China’s traditional value is likely to get lost because language and ideas are interlocked in most cases. For example( 没有例证难以服人) , when interviewed, most youngsters show that they are quite unfamiliar with some famous figures and their sayings.

尾段总结建议

??To sum up, many reasons are responsible for the phenomenon and it will do us harm if we leave the situation as it is. Faced with the problem, we are expected to take effective measures. For one thing, the government should work out rules to ensure the time for the study of Chinese in school. Only in this way, can we find a cure for the problem.

开头描写

??Clearly described in the caricature is a youngster chatting with his friend while sipping coffee( 开头倒装) . Much to our surprise(很多漫画开头可以用类似介词词组起到改变句子开头方式的作用、使句式灵活多变), right

( 强调可以加分) behind the screen stands a cyber criminal who is stealing information off the computer.

二段分析影响

??As the Internet has become an indispensable part of people's lives and the platform for the government and functioning departments to provide public services( 背景介绍移到第二段开头 , 这种情况很少见到。 文章本无定法) , individual users and the country have paid the price( 这其实是主体段主题句的关键词了 ) for the lack of efficient supervision and administration Many Chinese netizens are thrown into a panic because their personal details offered to a number of major institutions, including e-commerce and financial institutions, somehow leak out though they are supposed to be secret. 三段分析 例证+原因

??Pornography, hacker attacks, the exposure of private photos and spam are common for Internet users today, demonstrating how serious the challenge is for the healthy

development of China‘s online environment. (例证) The existing laws and regulations concerning information security have not played their due role as a firewall in protecting online personal information.(附带原因 ) 尾段建议

??The orderly operation of society depends on morals and law, and so does cyberspace. It is imperative to establish new security standards and mechanisms in line with the phenomenal popularity of the Internet. And a law on personal information protection should be introduced as soon as possible. Those found to be selling users' information or allowing users' information to be exposed should be punished according to the law.

KEYWORDS: “Shanzhai” or “copycat”

关键词: 知识产权保护, 模仿, 创新力低下

MODEL ESSAY:

As is indicated in the illustration given above, one well-known superstar is being astonished by his another-self, who is standing on the opposite side, with a disgraceful note in his hand announcing “promoting the product for you once paid”. So, paid for what? Definitely, he would be paid for his special reputation as a socalled “Copycat Big Star” or “Shanzhai Superstar”, which is rampant in today’s China. Para.2

The trend of the diversification of human culture is unchangeable even without the action practiced by human beings owing to the various individualities themselves, and so is this round of culture revolution. The novelties generated by the “Copycat Culture”---“Shanzhai Movie”, “Shanzhai Camera” and even “Shanzhai Celebration of Spring Festival”, have brought a lot of entertainment to the public to some extent, but what we should never be blind to are their side effects if they go to extremes. As the exemplification demonstrated in the cartoon goes, “Shanzhai Star” is taking advantage of the fame or profitable value of the real Superstar. Sometimes this kind of behavior is a typical infringement to the Intellectual property indeed, which we barely fail to recognize from TV programs or newspapers. Para.3

Then, the question goes to another orientation, that is, whether or not should we admit the existence of “Copycat Culture” or to what extent could we make efforts to protect the rights of original author? It goes with no denying that the engine of the development of a country is subject to the nation’s creative power, which needs the strongest protection from either governments or civilians to fight with any behavior ravaging this kind of ecological balance.

Introduced as a widely known Chinese fable, “Blind men and an Elephant” tells us never to draw a conclusion from incomplete data .For tremendous years, people outside China could only get narrow and unilateral
