一、引导时间状语从句的从属连词

(1)because与so这两个连词不能同时在一个句子里使用，只能用其一。如：Because Jone was ill，I took him to the doctor.＝Jone was ill，so I took him to the doctor.

(2)(al)though与but这两个连词也不能用在同一个句子中。但though与yet，still可以同时出现在一个句子里(yet和still作副词用)。如：Although he is old，he still works hard.＝He is old，but he still works hard.
