Unit 8 Talent Show Lesson 1 I’m from China 教学目标：在本课结束时，学生能够

1． 读懂故事的主要内容，借助故事插图理解故事主要情节； 2． 正确模仿和朗读人物对话及故事； 3． 借助图片指认，说出国家名称；

4． 运用“Where are you from? I’m from……”的询问和介绍。 重点：在插图帮助下能够理解并正确朗读故事。

难点：个别国家单词的认读和发音，比如：Australia, India等。 Step1: 1. 呈现学生熟悉电视节目show的图片，识别是什么节目或活动。 Firstly, Let’s look at some pictures, what does he/she doing? Or what are they doing?

(学生举手自由回答) 2. 揭示学习主题.

There are some lovely animals come to the talent show too. Who are they?

Step2：呈现第一幅故事图片背景，引入故事场景。

Look at the picture, Children. Where is it? Who is he? Yes, He is Bobby

Bear. Can you guess what Bobby says? Let’s Listen! Step3: 1.让学生预测故事中的主要人物。

Children, Who comes to the talent show tonight? Can you guess? 2. 播放动画让学生带着问题来观看。
