T:(出示幻灯片)Dogs can help the blind man ,the deaf girl and the firemen .So we can say “dogs are very useful.” Follow me “Useful, useful, useful, dogs are very useful.” Ss: Useful, useful, useful, dogs are very useful.
T: Useful, useful (分组读) Group 1, Good!Group 2, very well! Group 3, great! Group 4, excellence!
(设计意图:整个教单词和句子的过程运用“全身反应法”,有利于学生的意义理解,记忆和运用。同时,以Dog为线,使学生认识到动物与人类关系密切,应爱护动物。)
(三)Practice
1)游戏:萝卜蹲
规则:找几个同学充当单词blind deaf firemen hear,当
老师说哪个单词的时候那个同学就要蹲下,如,blind蹲,blind蹲,blind 蹲完,deaf蹲 2)学习课文
T: Listen to the tape and think of the questions. Q1: Who are they? Q2:What are they doing?
Q3:What program are they watching? Q4:Does Lingling like dogs? Q5:Are hot dogs really dogs?
Q6:What are hot dogs? (2)解决问题,再次读课文 (3)分角色读课文
(在听读的过程中培养学生良好的学习习惯,通过演演的形式让学生在情景中练习达到掌握的目的。)

1、Make up a dialogue in pairs. 2、Copy the new words (六)板书设计: Unit 1 He can’t see. He is blind.
She is deaf. The dogs help him/her/them. She can’t hear.
The firemen can’t find people.
