As the modern pace continues to quicken, great changes will take place in the houses in 1,000 years.

First, the building materials should be improved so that the temperature inside the house can be adjusted according to the weather. In this way, people living in the house don't need the air conditioner in summer and the heater in winter, which will be very good for a low-carbon life. Second, the roof might have a garden which can allow people to keep the house cool and grow vegetables to eat. Third, the color of the wall inside may change itself as the owner's emotion changes. Fourth, all the appliances in the house will be controlled by the computer.

In a word, the house of the future should be eco-friendly and a comfortable place to live in.
