The castle is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 7 pm, and Sundays and holidays from 8: 30 am to 1: 30 pm. The Prehistoric Museum is open only on weekends from 10 am to 1 pm. As Naples is one of Italy’s most visited cities, its sights can be very crowded in the high-season summer months. Author Avi, winner of a Newbery Award, a Scott O’Dell Historical Fiction Award, and several Boston Globe-horn Book Awards, may have seen his first children’s book published in 1970, but that doesn’t mean he’s lost his talent for connecting with young fans.

Then my family discouraged me from taking up writing as a career because they considered my writing poor. By using Avi, I was showing my determination to them.”

In 1961, at Ecole Monseigneur Valois in Pierrefonds, Que, a perfect spelling test or extra neat work allowed you to score a beautiful picture. I managed to earn a few beauties in my favourite subject: penmanship(书法).
