You might reduce the price to 2% on the condition that he would increase the size of the order to 10,000 cases. He asks for a 2% commission, for it will be easier for him to push the sales. He intends to have some special orders, you accept the order, but charge him extra money for the special service. 3. Placing Order
A Canadian businessman wants to place a trial order of 800 sets of Z09 Massage Chair. You tell him that your minimum order is 1,000 set. 2,000 sets will be considered a large shipment and 5% reduction off the original price will be made. 2 months later, this businessman wants to place another 2,000 sets of Z09. Smith & Son Company in New York intends to import some products from China National Metal & Minerals Imp. & Exp. Corp. The importer suggests D/P payment because the order is small and the profits are little. The importer suggest to make payment by half L/C and half D/P, the exporter refuses the suggestion but agree to allow a 3% commission and early shipment to help with the turnover of the importer. 5. sure what kind of packing would be suitable for the bamboo wares. Now you discuss with her about the packing. 6. Shipping and Insurance
Miss Kazuko has ordered a total of $50,000 worth of your bamboo wares on CIF Hiroshima terms. She wants to make the delivery within 30 days. You think you don’t have enough time to meet the date. She neither accepts any partial shipment. You ask her coverage of insurance. She wants you to take out insurance against All Risks for 120% of the invoice value with insurance you both agreed. Now you are negotiating with her.
