2、完成birthday chart。学生根据Read and write完成书中birthday chart。

3、Ask and answer。请学生根据birthday chart进行问答。如： A: When is John’s mother’s birthday? / Whose birthday is in November?

B: It’s in May. / Aunt Mary.在问答的过程中完成书本上两个问题。

（六）巩固和扩展（Consolidation and extension）

教师出示Pronunciation部分的挂图，引导学生认读含有字母组合ear, eer, ch, sh的例词，帮助学生归纳出它们的发音规律。 （七）作业设计（Homework）

1、朗读课文三次，背诵、默写四会句子。

2、每人制作一个birthday chart（可以是家人的，或是自己喜欢的明星的）。 教后反思：

（一）热身／复习（Warm-up/Revision）

1、教师播放歌曲三年级上册歌曲“Ten little candles dance”。 2、教师提问：“歌曲里唱的是什么，有多少？”，学生回答出：“There are ten little candles.”。学生再次伴随卡拉OK唱两遍歌曲，每次请10名学生上台边扮演蜡烛边演唱。 （二）预习展示(Preparation) 1、预习检测：数一数

教师用手指表示数字1-99，学生快速读出，练习数字的英语表达方法。

请若干名学生说英文，其它同学说出相应的数字；而后再请学生说数字，其他同学说出相应的英文。

2、教师指着学校教学楼简图，进行师生问答：Where is our classroom? It’s on the first floor . Where is the TV room ? It’s on the second floor . 教师提问的内容由first floor 和second floor . 自然过度到位于三楼的教室，学习生词third . （三）出示本课时学习目标与方法：

学习目标：

1、能够听、说、读、写序数词1-20，及其简写形式。 2、能用英文表达生日、节日的具体日期，并正确书写。 学习方法：

1、教师出示图片，并引导学生看图问答。 2、展示单词卡片并做造句练习。 （四）呈现新课 （Presentation）

1、教师指着黑板上画好的12层大楼，提问学生：This is a tall building . It’s very tall . How many floors are there in this building ? 师生一起从1数到12， 回答： There are 12 floors .

教师将单词卡片January贴在一楼，提问学生： Where is January ? 学生回答： It’s on the first floor . 教师板书first . 学生一起朗读。教师说：January is the first month .It’s on the first floor . 学生模仿并进行拓展会话，如：February is second month . It’s on the second floor . 教师表演第一个自觉拓展句型的学生。

2、教师出示April 的卡片提问：What about April ? 教师自己回答：April is the fourth month . It’s on the fourth floor . 学生齐读单词。

3、教师指着第五层楼问学生：Now , who lives on this floor ? 学生应回答：May ,.教师说：Yes , it’s May . May is the fifth month . It’s on the fifth floor .教师强调该词是fifth 而非fiveth ，师生一起朗读fifth .

同样的方法教学12th . 教师引导学生发现其变化规律。

4、教师引导学生看图说话，教师先给予明确示范，如：January is the first month . It’s on the first floor . 请学生依次做表述，一直到12月份。

（五）趣味操练、交流展示 （Practice）

1、师生进行听词义猜单词游戏，如：教师给出词义：the first month of a year . 学生即能猜出是January .

2、教师放歌曲“happy new year”， 师生同唱。教师出示一张有新年气象的图片提问：What festival is it ? 学生回答: New Year’s Day .教师出示1月份的月历表，问学生： When is New Year’s Day ? 教师自己回答：It’s the first day of a year . It’s January 1st. 3、展示：教师挑选20日之前的日期让学生试读，使学生能自如表达具体日期。

（六）巩固和扩展（Consolidation and extension）

说节日Pair work

教师给出课文中出现的节日“Women’s Day, Army Day, Children’s Day, Teachers’ Day, New Year’s Day”，请学生说一说他们都是什么节日？教师领读这些节日。 教师提问：“When is Teachers’ Day?”，帮助学生答出：“It’s September 10th.”。教师播放对话录音，学生跟读。请若干名学生提问，如：“When is Army Day?”，其他学生回答。若干名学生说日期，请其他同学猜一猜是什么节日，可以加上上一节课的节日。 （七）作业设计（Homework）
